Composition(20pts): 18 Hints at a foreground, middle, background I think overlapping would help. Youve placed the bird behind her so we feel that is in back, that's great! A bit more would help especially in the right of her hair, maybe a design or outline would use that space and put something in front to push her back. Or something smaller and distant would give us scale. I think the blocks of color are great. I feel like they could overlap her more or stop before touching her. Maybe just a few blowing strands would relieve the tension created by the way it touches her hair.
Contrast (20pts): 20 Good! I can squint and see really dark darks.
Center of Interest(20 pts): 19 Good placement of objects and words but if you can keep the subject out of the center it will score better.
Craftsmanship (20pts): 19- Very nice. I get the feeling that the bird is supposed to be in cartoon (intentionally) because you have drawn so much detail on the face. She could have more lost darks under the right hand side of her chin though to ease the thick feeling of her neck. Cover it up a bit and you will see what I mean. Great job
Creativity (10pts): 9 I love the new direction you are going in and bringing in culture makes the point you are trying to convey carry more weight. I know as you add more color and elements it will become even more creative.
